Hey there. I was wondering if someone could help me with the following problem: I currently have Sab running on an ubuntu file server. I keep getting to a situation where files will download to NEARLY complete, and just sit there. Currently I have four with full yellow bars and like 8 MB to go. Three of them have been sitting there for days.
Is this a bug, or have a set something wrong?

Usenetserver with Blocknews as a backup
Re: Downloads hang on nearly complete.
Did you set retries to a low number (default is 3) in Config->Switches ?
What is the server timeout in Config->Servers?
When one of the servers doesn't respond to missing articles (instead of saying "no"),
the time per article will be "retries"x"timeout", so 3 and 120 will take 6 minutes per article.

Hi there
Retries is set at 3
Blocknews timeout is set at 120
Usenetserver timeout is set at 120
I'm not sure why that would cause items to hang around in my download queue for *days* though...

Click on the entries in the queue.
The next page should show the files which are still incomplete.
Is there a pattern?

I'm not certain what you mean. What kind of pattern? As in for the kind of jobs that are hanging?
Re: Downloads hang on nearly complete.
Are the same kind of files always hanging in each job?

Not as far as I can tell...
Re: Downloads hang on nearly complete.
If very few data is still left, you can set the "priority" to Stop.
That will send the job to the processing queue.
Other than that, I have no idea what can be going on.
You might also try a SABnzbd restart of a full queue repair (from Status page).
