Do you experience problems during downloading?
Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.
I've been going through the forum to get some help for an error relating to saving. I've been using Sabnzbd for years and thankfully no problems, until today. Granted everything else is fine, I'm having issues grabbing a file that I really want
The error says there is a problem with "saving" the NZB in question. I've tried multiple different releases and all are giving me the same. The file just sits in the queue, and nothing happens. Below is the extract from the logs.
I have seen on the forum mention of going Config->Special and changing the max length value. It was at 128, I changed it to 50, and now 40, still the same.
Would greatly appreciate some help

I am getting the same error - up to 10 times or more for the same file. I seem to get one error of this type per nzb (the same thing 6 letter identifier) - the errors follow this format:
Saving /(upstream directories)/.incomplete/(nzb file name)/__ADMIN__/SABnzbd_nzo_(random 6 letter identifier) failed
The downloads complete successfully, but my error log always has a few entries like this (woke up this morning to 20 that were generated overnight for only two downloads).
It looks like you have disk problems or access rights problems.
As long as SABnzbd doesn't need to save its admin to disk, it will function mostly.
Check your disk and access rights.
I don't think that it is an access rights problem - I have started to get these errors recently on only a few random downloads (2 downloads were affected last week, for example, out of around 50). I must check my S.M.A.R.T. logs for disk errors - I looked last week and these seemed clean, but the one of my drives to getting on 3 years old now ....
