Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.

Unable to connect using firefox
when ever i open Sabnzdb firefox says its unsafe ...it says "You have asked Firefox to connect securely to 127.0.0.1:9090, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure." can anyone help please

That's normal because you haven't bought an SSL certificate from a certificate authority.
In Firefox you should be able to install a permanent exception (i.e. to tell Firefox that SABnzbd's certificate is OK).
BTW: there is absolutely no reason to use HTTPS on a "localhost", traffic never goes outside your own computer.
Just disable HTTPS in Config->General.
