Oops!

Post by suckmykiss »

Hey, everyone! I'm a newbie, so please be gentle!

Yesterday sab seemed to be having trouble downloading files, telling me everything was being backlogged. I didnt have enough experience to realize my harddrive space was used up. So, before I cleaned it up, I was looking through Sab and saw the queue function under status and thought I'd try queue repair.

:-\ Sab didn't like that. It actually hasn't "Worked" since. I did get my harddrive space cleaned up, but it is not downloading any new shows. Each one I select in Sick Beard goes to backlog and my queue is so empty it's getting cobwebs. I obviously did something I wasn't supposed to do, but I don't know how to fix it. Please help! ;D

Version: 0.7.16
OS: Using Windows Vista for my slave computer, all files are being saved onto my Time Capsule and am watching everything through my MacBook Pro, OSX 10.85
Install-type: Windows is running the actually programs
Firewall Software: Windows, None
Are you using IPV6? No?
Is the issue reproducible? I think so, since it is still doing it. :'(

Any ideas at all? I'm going batty over here. I can't get it to come out of idle mode and have been searching for the last several hours online for some trouble shooting ideas. :-X

Can you upload NZB fies manually?

Nothing is showing up in the queue. I did have one NZB saved on my desktop before I figured out how to use everything, so I did try to upload that manually and it did show quickly in the queue, then history and it is now in my XBMC folder to watch.Nothing that I add from sickbeard shows up in the queue, they all say backlog. I'm so baffled!

Looks like a SickBeard issue.
Possibly the ApI-key for communication from SickBeard to SABnzbd has changed.
Compare the value in Config->General with the value in SickBeard.

Okay, I will check that. I just thought it was strange since it happened right after I hit the repair button in Sab, :/

P.S. Thank you for responding. I know these are pretty simple questions, I appreciate you bearing with me while I learn the new stuff.

Edited to add: The API keys remain the same in both. I noticed there is an NZB key in Sab, which is not in Sickbeard from what I can tell. Is it possible I hit something in Sab that hides the queue or forces it into idle? I've looked everywhere and I can't figure out how to get it out of idle.

I did notice in my log from sickbeard that right after I cleared out my space and hit the repair function in SAB, it says : o NZB/Torrent providers found or enabled in the sickbeard config. Please check your settings.

However, I checked my setting and sick beard and wombie are both in there for provider priorities and in built in provider is has NZBs'RUS.

I also just noticed one show I added last night and two from today via Sickbeard are not actually showing in the show list, they are still at the very bottom saying they are loading.

So things in SickBeard go wrong?
If so, I'm not the expert that can help you. :(

It looks like SB is acting up, too! I didn't notice that before. Do you think Sab showing as idle is because of SB being weird? The thing that baffles me is that everything worked just fine until I did that repair option in Sab. Its like I broke the whole system! LOL

What do you suggest I do now? :/

Find the way to the sickbeard forums. Everything in this entire thread points to sickbeard just not finding anything. And no nzbs = no downloads.
