Here is a screen shot of it:

I'm saying my downloads slow down to an extreme crawl. They will download @ 3 MB/s just fine for a while, then it slows down to an extremely low B/s.Denial Craig wrote:what you are asking about...!
Right fron Sabnzbd's configuration:shypike wrote:Make sure you do not confuse bits/sec and bytes/second.
Also, SABnzbd's speedcap is set in Kbytes/sec (weird, I know).
So when you want a speedcap of 3 Mbits/sec, you want a cap of 300 Kbytes/sec, so set a value of 300.

No, you're not. You're on a 3 MB/s line a.k.a. 30 Mbps. There is a big difference between B and b ... a factor 10.Whitechapel wrote:My downloads were all coming down blazing fast, I'm on a 30 MB/s down line

OK, I was wrong. 30 Mbps down, not 3.0 MBps.sander wrote:No, you're not. You're on a 3 MB/s line a.k.a. 30 Mbps. There is a big difference between B and b ... a factor 10.Whitechapel wrote:My downloads were all coming down blazing fast, I'm on a 30 MB/s down line

OK, sorry.sander wrote:OK, good.
Now realize this:
ISP's use "Mbps"
Speedtest.net uses "Mbps"
SABnzbd uses ... "MB/s" (or kB/s)
... so be careful what you set in SABnzbd
