Hello, I'm fairly sure i read somewhere that 7zip will/is already be supported in 0.8, but this is taking forever (no offence).

Would it be possible to integrate 7zip in the next maintenance release of 0.7.x ?

It's already in the 0.8.0 code.
But 0.8.0 is not in a releasable state yet.
