[SOLVED] Download speed much lower after 0.5.4 --> 0.6.15

Post by Roel1963 »

Over the past weeks I upgraded my Sheevaplug from Debian Squeeze to Wheezy, which also resulted in an upgrade of SABnzbd from 0.5.4 to 0.6.15 (probably I should say "new install", as upgrading wasn't really an option).
When running the old version of SABnzbd, the downloadspeed got as fast as 5.5 to 6.0, after the upgrade, however, it starts around 3.5 max, and drops to 1.9 where it remains this speed.

I think I eliminated all other causes, as "wget" gives about the same speed as it did before the new install, it seems to be only SABnzbd to notice a speed dropping.

Can this be a 0.6.15 issue? I posted this question here because I think it isn't really a Debian question, it may be a SABnzbd version issue though.

We're at 0.7.16 now and don't support 0.6.15 anymore.

So I upgraded to the Debian Unstable version 0.7.16 and the speed is at 6.2MB/s constant.

Thanks for pointing me to the newer version :-)
