Hoping someone can help me out with this. Ive used SABnzbd on bootcamped Windows 7 and experienced download speeds of 1.5mb/s consistently. Without changing any technical information (i.e. ISP, computer hardware, location) and simply switching back over to the Mac OS 10.7 the speed has dramatically dropped to 500kb/s. Thats only a third of the speed I was getting through windows.
All the set/config is the EXACT same in SABnzbd as well. I'm using a Macbook Air which I bootcamped to Windows from day 1 so its essentially a fresh install of Lion.
Can anyone think of why my downloads are so much slower in Mac than Windows?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Most people's experience is exactly reversed.
SABnzbd works faster on both OSX and Linux on the same hardware, compared to Windows.
I suspect something else is going on, altough I don't know what.

Yes I know, which is why its confusing me so much. I don't think its application related as I just tried using another client and got the same results. I just cant think what it could be...
