I often download items that contain 10, 20 or even 25 individual items, each of these items tend to be in many small parts (rar). Sab will download all of this, then try to extract it. But most of the time it will fail (cant extract rar, or missing parts). This means sab will give up on it and this usenet item will remain in my 'uncompleted' folder.
Here is the problem. Assume I was trying to download 25 items. Its possible the first item will fail and sab will give up. That means I now have 24 items that are in rar format that arent extracted. Forcing me to do 24 manual extraction of every single file, so I can find the ones I can extract successfully.
Its almost like sab does all its usenet stuff correctly, then if one winrar extraction fails it gives up on all other winrar extractions.
How can I fix this?
One failed extraction causing entire item to fail

Re: One failed extraction causing entire item to fail
A solution is on the roadmap, but not real soon.
The alternative is a bit complex:
- Remove the "bad" part from the "incomplete" job folder.
- Pause SABnzbd
- Send the item back to the queue (Retry)
- Open the file list (click on item in queue)
- Remove the "bad" files
- Go back to queue and click the resume button

Re: One failed extraction causing entire item to fail
well my 'workaround' is a bit simpler then your suggestion:
- Open the folder
- ctrl-click part 1 of each set
- right click and 'extract here' then simply overwrite everything

Of course that works too.
But not everybody has WinRAR installed.
