Pausing post processing

I do not know if this is executable:

The ability to pause the post processing and resume it later. I think it could be applied with this function:

I don't believe par2/unrar allow pausing in the middle of their operations, but perhaps it could pause between them?

That was the idea.
The post-processor cannot be halted in the middle of a job.
A couple of days ago I had a 5 hour repair/unpack job, shutdown was postponed until this job was done.
The current design doesn't really allow interruptions in post-processing.
