Downloads appearing as complete...but have actually failed

Post by cyberkid2002 »

Hi all,

Recently a number of my downloads are appearing as sucessfully completed but are actually failing (a 15gb download will go from downloading to successful in about 3 minutes so clearly not doing much). After checking the download folder it has downloaded around 70mb of data consisting of the correct number of rar's, most of which are 625kb.

Latest version of Sabnzbd, Newsdemon as the provider (tried both EU and US servers)

Anyone else encountered this? I am 99.99999% certain the files have been DMCA'd which is fine, just cant work out why it is coming up as complete. Because it thinks they are being downloaded correctly my backup block account is not being touched.

I have tha same issue...

my scenario :

i am using RSS feed from binsearch. When someone post something, it appear on binsearch even if the uploader is still uploading. I'm not 100% sure, but it seams the usenet system is creating all the required part first, then it fill them with the correct data.

SAbnzbd isn't complaining since it think it have all the required part.

Am i correct and clear ?

When no usable par2 files are downloaded, SABnzbd will assume the download went down OK.
Then, only when unrar gives CRC errors, SABnzbd will report a problem.
