I've been a long time sabnzbd user and I've had no problems up until recently.
Over the last few months I've seen an increasing number of downloads fail, but not in the usual way. Often when I download a file, the first 10% or so will appear as downloaded instantly. So for a 5GB file, the first 500MB will be reported as downloaded right away. The download then progresses as its normal speed and completes, but then fails the repair phase. This is unsurprising, since the first 500MB of the file likely never downloaded. My question is, why would this be happening? Is this a problem on my usenet provider's end (unlimited.newshosting.com) or could sabnzbd be the culprit? Has anyone else experienced this behaviour before?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

The par2 files are sent to the back of the job, only to be downloaded when needed.
Does the download report (click on entry in History) say anything about missing articles?
