Complete Newbie Stupidity

Post by boe »

Hello,

I apologize if this is a stupid question. I've used bittorrent for a long time but thought I'd try something like sabnzbd but so far no luck in downloading any files I try.

I don't know if the issue is with what I'm trying to download or something I've misconfigured in sabnzbd (.07.11)

I went to https://www.nzbclub.com/search.aspx?q=r ... 03e03+720p and clicked on a few of the files - e.g. royal pains s03e03 720p h264 dimension (tried a few) it looks like it is going to download - the meter next to the name starts filling in e.g. 98mb of 1499mb and then after a while I'll look at it and it will say something like -
"download failed - Out of your server's retention?"

I'm currently using free.xsusenet.com with connections set to 2 as I'd prefer not to do any trial stuff that may be unpleasant to cancel if I can't figure out how to use this alternative to bittorrent.

Can you let me know where I might be going wrong?

"free" xsusenet has a very short retention time.
You should look for NZB files that are less than 10 days old.
