When trying to test connection to http://www.xsusenet.com (or http://www.free.xsusenet.com), I get the message "Invalid Server Address".
Is this not the proper Host Address for XS Usenet?
Cannot connect to host. (XS Usenet)

No, it's not.
It is free.xsusenet.com
But ... if you have to ask, I wonder if you have an account with xsusenet ...

Re: Cannot connect to host. (XS Usenet)
Thank you kindly.
I do have an account with xsusenet.
Having corrected the address to free.xsusenet.com, the test now returns "482 Authentication Rejected"
Hold on while I try and figure the problem here...

OK. Well, then you have to check and re-check what you've filled out as account versus what you have received as account info.JamesTheWarlock wrote:A free account.

It works?
If you type "sudo apt-get install miredo" on your Ubuntu, can you then access:
newszilla6.xs4all.nl
weathergirl-ipv6.tele2.net
(no account needed)
