I've been running SABnzbd on OS X for years. I installed on my Synology DS1512+ yesterday. Everything seems to be working well. I did notice 1 thing...
In the Queue Repair screen, I see see an entry for @eaDir as an orphaned job in the download folder. The @eaDir directories are Synology specific and contain extended attributes, thumbnails, etc.
Is there a way to tell SABnzbd to ignore these?

Re: Synology (@eaDir) Directory in Queue Repair
Kind of weird.
SABnzbd checks for more than just the presence of a folder.
It needs to have an __admin__ sub folder as well, does it?
We don't want to build in specific support for embedded platforms,
there are just too many with too many variations.
