IFTTT for Download Notifications

Post by dolver »

Hi,

I am thinking it would be useful to get a message when something new had downloaded. Is there any way to do this? I am thinking with the history RSS feed and IFTTT.com - but the "localhost" thing obviously doesn't seem to fly with them.

Any thoughts? I looked at the e-mail notifications section of the settings, but couldn't get outgoing mail to work either - so wasn't even able to test it to see if it would do what I wanted.

Thanks all!

The next release will have Prowl support.
Current versions already have Growl support.

BTW: SABnzbd cannot support all mail servers, we simply don't have the test capacity,
nor is it a primary goal.
However, it does work with gmail. So you could setup a gmail address which you
have forwarded to ifttt.com

Awesome - I can create a workaround with ifttt and a gmail address.

Thanks!
