Incomplete folder - where did the "failed" RARs go?

Post by Cold_Mixer »

I had an nzb download as incomplete (password protected RAR) and saw somewhere that manually extracting the files might work.

However, when I browse to the incomplete folder there are no RARs. Inside the folder for the failed nzb are the following files:

__ADMIN__ (folder)
*.nfo
*.sfv

Inside the ADMIN folder are files like __skipcheck__, __verified__, etc, but no sign of the actual RAR files.

I checked my Sickbeard config and selected the "keep original files" option, thinking that might do it, tried again, same result. Anyone know why the RARs are being purged when the extraction fails? Thanks.

Did the download report that they were downloaded at all?
(judging by the amount downloaded.)

Sorry, this was my bad. As others had experienced the same issue I was following their troubleshooting steps and looking in the "incomplete" folder (where files for this download had been created, thus throwing me off), when in actual fact the complete rar had been airlifted to a FAILED_* folder on my destination drive. Just a brain fart.

Thank you for your help.
