frustrated I c others also pausing

OMG why is sabnzbd pausing all the time? I'm going to read other's info now that I see I'm not alone but its beyond frustrating, the program is almost unusable at this point.

ok after reading the posts nothing seems to make sense other than maybe I had to many going but I highly doubt it. I actually thought it was newshosting so I cancelled it a few days ago I was so frustrated. Last night I bought a new one and am still deciding on a backup server. I realize now it's sabnzbd. Ever repairing the que didn't help. Very strange.

yes there is definitely a problem and I see others have same. I'm on a Mac and actually again I thought maybe it was my computer so I erased the drive. LOL I've done everything I can to try and fix this. Nothing has been changed in the settings, all are default. I only have 6 items downloading before I went to bed so I'm at a loss. I'm interested in getting feedback. Thanks.

Are you using an external drive for the temporary download folder?
Do you get any warnings?
When, for some reason, SABnzbd cannot write its job administration to disk,
it will pause. Unfortunately it doesn't always give a clear error message.

nope,. just my hard drive same as before. been using this for a couple years love it btw and never any problems until recently. I just download to my hard drive...........errors? will check again but nothing out of the ordinary will post asap if I get one.

only thing I can think of is the script

Relative folders are based on: /Users/Brenda/Downloads/complete

than under folder/script

hd2 which is my external.

Set logging level to Debug on the Status page.
Then when a pause occurs again, go back to the Status page, download the log file and
inspect the end of the file for error messages.
