everytime i download a nbz file i end up with a duplicate queue at sabnzbd, giving me double downladed space. is it supposed to?
i´m on wt-64bits, SABnzbd 0.7.11, Chrome..

everytime i download a nbz file i end up with a duplicate queue at sabnzbd, giving me double downladed space. is it supposed to?

You're probably using both the association of SABnzbd with NZB files
and the watched folder at the same time.

right. i go to the config and blank the watched folder is that it? i have it filled with a folder at my choice so i let it blank? otherwise i'll have to make sab not be associated with nzb files, right?
and for another matter..
it's my first days on usenet and been thinking about the high percent of loss. is it possible? recently dwlded some stuff and at the end sab said "repair failed... etc" (see image). i made some search and came to a way to contour the situation. i got QUICKPAR, went to NZBINDEX and searched for exactly the same name of the thing i want to download originally. then created the nzb with the parts missing and started dwnl to het the message "download might fail, only x% of 100%". sab dind't download the stuff. got newsbin trial and did it, after which i could repair the missing blocks.
first question: why doesn't sab download the blocks?
2nd: why does sab misses so much stuff. Almost 70% of my downloads failed yesterday and i deleted them before scratching my head for a fix, whihc now i'm trying? I´ll have to fix every download becasue of missing blocks?

Your story is rather hard to follow.
But it looks your first NZB file was not complete.
Especially with generic sites like nzbindex.nl it's not always easy to get complete NZB files.

i'll try to be more clear
in 8 downloads only 2 survived intact. all the rest were either with password or missing blocks. already understood that might happen.
about the passwords thre's no cure, you just have to search better.
as to the missing blocks i found that i could repair the missing blocks with quickpar. i didn't say i searched initially through nbzindex, i only said that i went to look after the missing parts at nbz index. or should i look them at the site that originated the nbz? in any case i assumed that if i searched at the orginal site i would get the same problems and searched for the missing parts at an alternate location.
the problem arrives when i tried to download those missing parts with SAB. i now guess i had misconfugured my queue, which actually looks like this
initially i configured it to abort jobs that could not be completed so my guess was that SAB started downloading the missing parts but after perceiving that they could not be completed, flushed the job.
as i had an alternate reader (newsbin) and was able to download through it, i was asking why didn't SAB dwnl the blocks and newsbin did
as to the missing blocks, already talked to astraweb and they told that DMCA's ect etc. so i'll continue trying to tune SAB in the next few days and see what happens.

I still don't quite follow your train of thought.
Just email an example of an NZB that works OK with newsbin but not with SABnzbd to bugs@sabnzbd.org
Add the URL of this message.
BTW: you should be using the same NZB for both programs.
