Stuck on post-processing

Post by arashb »

So I've been using SABnzbd for a long time and it has worked great until now. One night I was downloading and fell asleep, when I woke up my laptop had ran out of battery, I'm guessing something happened during the processing there because when I woke up 1 file had processed while 2 were showing that loading spin thing. Ever since then I have not been able to actually use most of what I opened.

I've used UnRARX to manually repair some, but for the bigger files I want to see if I can download missing blocks.

I'm on Mountain Lion and have tried SABnzbd 0.7.11 and 0.7.10, both give me the same problem. I also cannot close SABnzbd it just hangs on "Stopping...", while it's trying to close I'm able to go on the GUI. And if I delete the processing queue I'm able to close it fine.

At this point, I don't care if my files have to be redownloaded, I just want this to work again.

---- Solved it, delete the files at "/Users/XXXXXXXX/Library/Application Support/SABnzbd/sabnzbd.ini"
entire queue gets deleted + have to resetup SAB but it's worth it.

SABnzbd will always try to complete the active post processing job.
Of course this can take a long time and may not succeed when the item actually hangs.
To fix this will requires quite a bit of redesign and being compatible with less systems.
It's on the roadmap, not for the short term.
