So my SB snatched an episode of Arrow and let SAB download the NZB. Me and my dad are in a different house and use one Usenet account so we use that account one at a time because it is not possible to use it simultaneously. He is using it to download some movies now and at the same time Arrow at my side was transferred to SB. I got these errors:
2013-01-24 13:20:39,140 WARNING: Empty NZB file 94ea0c120d99559918f5f037340c258c.nzb&i=7288&r=a489f845c66f745faafc7295aca7672a.nzb [https://newztown.co.za/getnzb/94ea0c120 ... 95aca7672a]

Can't I set SAB/SB to keep trying to download that NZB until my dad finishes his downloads?
Also, SB marked it as snatched of course and it would never know that the download failed or completed because SAB never downloaded it in the first place.

Re: Empty NZB File error
The fact that you are sharing your Usenet account has no influence on accessing the indexing site.
I would that say there's an issue with the indexer.

But when my dad is accessing the Usenet account, I cannot use any connection because he is using all (30) connections. In that way, I cannot download the nzb file, right? Will SAB wait until the Usenet account is available?shypike wrote:The fact that you are sharing your Usenet account has no influence on accessing the indexing site.

Re: Empty NZB File error
It depends.
You should NOT set your server to optional in Config->Servers.
For well-known providers (like Giga/Supernews and Astraweb) SABnzbd will be able to
detect that you are sharing.
Each time that is detected the server will not be tried for the next 10 minutes.
So, with some delay, your SABnzbd will pick up when your dad has finished downloading.
BTW: it doesn't matter how many connections your dad uses; the provider detects that you're using two IP addresses.
Again, the above has nothing to do with you access to newztown.co.za.
(Assuming they are not also your Usenet provider.)

Re: Empty NZB File error
Ah ok. Do you think EMPTY NZB FILE error is even pertaining to what i am describing or is there another issue here?
Re: Empty NZB File error
No, that"s an indexer site issue.
It has no relation with the Usenet provider.
