Can't download og restart app

I'm having trouble getting sabnzbd to work on my Mac OSX.

It doesn't download and if i try to remove something from the que, it will be placed under "history", or what ever it is called on an english setup, but the "loading wheel" keeps spinning and never stop.
Futhermore, every time I try to close the app or restart it, it comes with an error like this:

500 Internal Server Error

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

What am I doing wrong? And if I would like to uninstall the app, so I can reinstall it, how do I do that?

Did you install the right build for your OSX version?
There are three builds on the DMG image.
It could also be that there's a problem with your Growl installation.
Which OSX and which Growl do you use?

I'm using OS X 10.6.8, and I have no idea what growl is
I thought the same, that maybe I had chosen the wrong application, but after trying it again I'm certain that it's the right one. And I still have the same problem

Disable "growl" support in the Config->Notifications page of SABnzbd.
