Sabnzbd only runs under Administrator account

I have issues running SAB under my non-admin account. Works properly when logged in as Admin, however under my normal non-admin account it does not validate username and password. Any suggestions?

Each account has its own SABnzbd settings.

So I need to configure the second account from the admin account? If so, how to proceed. If I install SAB under the second account it does not create a shortcut and I am not able to set the settings. Then SAB just requests for the username and password

What asks for the username/password? The web browser or Windows?

1. Make sure SABnzbd isn't running.

2. Check this location:
c:\program files (x86)\sabnzbd\
If present, remove the sabnzbd.ini file
(Leave out the (x86) if you have a 32bit Windows)

3. Inspect the user profiles of any relevant account.
c:\Users\user\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\

4. Remove the content of the above folder (maybe you should copy the sabnzbd.ini file)

5. Remove the desktop shortcut for SABnzbd (you may need admin rights)

6. Create a new shortcut from your daily user account

7. Start SABnzbd from your daily user account, using the shortcut

8. Go through the Setup Wizard again

Did you ever run SABnzbd at all?
How do you start it?
What do the properties of the SABnzbd desktop icon look like?
(Right-mouse click on icon, Properties).

I did, so for step 6 I need to create a shortcut from admin account, there I have SAB listed in programs, and you suggest I use this shortcut for the other account? Properties of the shortcut refer to "C:\Program Files (x86)\SABnzbd\SABnzbd.exe" to run SABnzbd 0.7.7

Did you had the opportunity to have a look at the property of the shortcut to SAB:"C:\Program Files (x86)\SABnzbd\SABnzbd.exe" to run SABnzbd 0.7.7?
Do you have any suggestions how to find the .ini file if required? I used find with sabnzbd.ini and just on extension .ini.
Cannot find the c:\Users\user\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\ folder, as well in admin or other account: what should be the content of this folder? Is this an issue to resolve the problem?

Open a command prompt and type this:

(That is minus-EL-2)
The output should give you clues about what is going on.
