Hello all,
I am trying to integrate SABnzbd with NZB7, yes I followed their step-by-step procedures and still nothing gets pushed to the SABnzbd queue.
Tried using the API key, the NZB key and disabling the API key altogether, but still SABnzbd has no files in its queue.
When I just d/l the nzb, SABnzbd see the nzb in the watched folder and add it to the queue, but not when I use the "Send to SABnzbd" button or the SABnzbd icons
On the NZB7 site, I have the correct key and option selected (even mixed and matched those in troubleshooting) still no "pushing" of files to SABnzbd's queue.
My only assumption is the url of my SABnzbd installation is not correct.
I used http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd/ and the HTTPS https://localhost:9090/sabnzbd/... still no files in SABnzbd queue.
Even tried http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd/api?mode= ... y="removed my key but it was the same as the Full key from SABnzbd"
Sent an email to webadmin on NZB7.com and I am waiting for a reply.
I can't be the olny one that is having issues, if I am then can someone give me what thier settings are, so I may verify (I feel I have tried all combos but you never know).
Thanks for your time,
Jer

Re: NZB7 and SABnzbd intergration
Wait ... nzb7.com puts NZBs directly into your SAB running at home?
If so: you need a *public* URL for your SABnzbd instace. For that you need a (static) plublic IP addres (or better: a fqdn, possibly via dynamic dns) and port forwarding on your NAT device, with a fixed private IP address for your system running SABnzbd ...
If the above is not clear to you, consider not using this method, but getting your stuff via a RSS feed.

Re: NZB7 and SABnzbd intergration
Thanks Sander,
Okay now that you put it that way, I kinda figured it WAS the url... duh, localhost... man I must be pre-new years eve-ing it...
So a fully qualified DN and port forwarding...think I can handle that...Lol
Wow sometimes you wish you never would have posted...

Re: NZB7 and SABnzbd intergration
Just got the same basic response from the admin at NZB7... man I am embarrassed, and yes once the port forwarding is setup in the NAT he said it works 100%

Re: NZB7 and SABnzbd intergration
The instruction on http://www.nzb7.com/content/7/sabnzbd/ is not complete: the NAT part / port forwarding is missing ...
Solution: IPv6. Not more NAT stuff. But it looks nzb7.com itself does not support IPv6. Pity.

Re: NZB7 and SABnzbd intergration
So I was able to get 8080 on port forward so knowing my IP you would put http://xx.xxx.xx.xxx:8080/ and that worked.
My issue was my LAN router was serving as my DHCP not my Modem... solution, I turned off DHCP on router and turned on DHCP on modem and port forwarded 8080 using the LAN IP of my computer running the 8080 application.
Bingo, NZB7 pushes files to SABnzbd... only took all vacation to get it working!!! Much thanks to you sander!!
Happy 2013!!

Re: NZB7 and SABnzbd intergration
Hi there,
I am new to both NZB7 and SABnzbd - had a very short successful time with NZBmatrix before it shut down.
Now I am trying to integrate NZB7 and SABnzb. I've been able to successfully set up the integration between sickbeard and NZB7 but I have failed to integrate SAB and NZB7.
I have tried to make sense of the above and have followed the way I think it applies to me... Problem is that I still can't get it to work.
I would appreciate any help that you could give me.
Thanks in advance :-)
