Operating system?
How do you open a par2 file? Not from SABnzbd.

Re: Permission to open files
Windows 7 , I open from incomplete folder not from SABnzbd
Re: Permission to open files
Possibly you're running SABnzbd under another account as the one
you're using to open the par2 file.
SABnzbd itself doesn't do anything with access rights on Windows;
instead it relies on Windows' defaults.

Re: Permission to open files
You need to download programs called QuickPar and WinRAR.
Although when SABnzbd says the download is incomplete, that usually true.
Do you have reason to think that it's wrong about that?

Re: Permission to open files
On top of this: the OP says "Qnap". So I guess SABnzbd is running on his Qnap NAS. If so, I guess that's where the error message "You do not have permission to open this file" about 'Permission to open files' is coming from.shypike wrote:You need to download programs called QuickPar and WinRAR.

So: two questions in one thread?
Re: Permission to open files
THanks , I can access the files through Q Nap , downloaded Quick Par & WIN Rar , but you are right , it states no repait needed - I wil try again
Re: Permission to open files
Instead of focussing on the problems, try to do a successful download. For example: a Ubuntu image (see http://binsearch.info/index.php?q=ubunt ... &postdate= )
