I've been using astraweb as my news server, but today I signed up with usenetserver because I kept getting CRC errors over and over again. However, after changing the server in the config page of SABnzbd, it still connects to astraweb; ie when I look at the connections it says:
news.usenetserver.com:119: 20
* Thread #1 -> 1267482558.94053.12@eu.news.astraweb.com -> etc.
I've tried restarting SABnzbd, rebooting the computer, reinstalling SABnzbd, but it still won't shake eu.news.astraweb.com. Anybody know what's going on?
By the way I'm using version 0.5.6

Re: Can't change server
I am having the exact same problem in version 0.7.4. Did you ever get this solved?
Like you, I was with Astraweb and changed to Usenetserver, have removed the server details for Astraweb from SABnzbd and putting in new details for Usenetserver, it still uses Astraweb. I have tried rebooting and restarting yet it still tries to use the old server that it isn't configure to use.
Can anyone shed any light on how to fix this?

Re: Can't change server
I guess you're looking at the Status->Connections page?
What you see there prominently are message IDs that happen to
contain the text "astraweb.com" in them.
That happens to be the server the post was uploaded to.
Look instead at the headers above those lists.
