Hi there,
I'm trying to get started with the RSS option of Sabnzbd, however, I'm finding it difficult to actually find a working feed, for instance I've tried this one from NZBIndex.nl, however, it seems like that site is using a different XML formatting than Sab expects; the NZB link is in an 'enclosure' element instead of the link.
Besides NZBIndex.nl I haven't found another site yet that supports RSS feeds for search options (in this case for 'The Daily Show') except for NewzBin, which isn't open for registration.
Thanks in advance for the support!

Re: Wrong element parsed in RSS feed or incompatbility
Wouldn't it be great if search sites adhered to some sort of standard?
I'm not sure if we can (or even want to) support this.

I suppose the 'can' part shouldn't be too difficult, simply check if such an element exists and if so, use it, the 'want' part is up to you thoughshypike wrote: Wouldn't it be great if search sites adhered to some sort of standard?

You may have noticed the newzbin invitation request item in the General Discussion area.
www.tvnzb.com works fine, so does www.binsearch.info's feeds.
I agree it's not very difficult to implement, however we are in danger of ending
up with hard-coded support for all sorts of sites (subject to change).
The primary problem with nzbindex.nl is that the wrong and the right link both look OK.
You have to know it's nzbindex.nl before you can know the enclosure part contains the real NZB link.
I'll discuss it with the team.
