Hello all. I have read through all the forums on this site and tried multiple combinations within SABnzbd to try and figure out the issue and I'm still stuck.
A little info:
Mac OSX 10.8.2
SABnzbd 0.7.6
All Category folders work even the e-book and there is no script attached to it. That is because I can not find a script for and and do not have the know how to create on. When I download an ebook, mobi, siPDF, PDF, html, etc from any newzbin site it starts the download and defaults to the default setting in SABnzbd which do not do anything with the file. It does not download it or put in any folder I can find. For whatever reason SABnzbd does not recognize the e-books.
I can force it to do what I need it to do by either catching the download in SABnzbd before it's complete and choosing the category e-book that I set up or by pausing all downloads and then choosing the category books on all of them but nothing is automated. I know the path works because when i manually choose the category it puts it in the folder.
I have screen shots but don't know how to upload them to this topic. Sorry. Hope there is enough info to work with here. If not let me know and I will see about uploading more info.''

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

SABnzbd doesn't "recognize" what it downloads.
Any specific processing depends on categories.
You set these either by hand or by mapping categories from an nzb index site to your own.
SABnzbd can only get category info from a limited set of sites, like nzbmatrix.com,
and only when it gets the NZB on its own directly from site or from an RSS feed from the site.
