Hi all, been using sabnzbd for along time now on my Win7 laptop. I have just received my Google Chromebook which has Chrome OS on it, I do believe.
I'm just wondering how on Earth I can still keep using sabnzbd now? Does anyone have any idea how I can get it running on this Chromebook?
Thanks in advance.

Re: GOOGLE Acer c7 Chromebook
Interesting question.
However, I think you can only run Chrome apps, which SABnzbd isn't.
you can run SAB on the windows machine and then access and control it from the Chromebook.
Or find a NZB downloader for ChromeOS.

Re: GOOGLE Acer c7 Chromebook
I've decided to send the Chromebook back. Whilst it is a nice little machine, it just doesn't cut the grade when connecting via HDMI to my 42" TV. It looks like something out of the 1990's VGA style. A common problem according to the results I found online.
Seems the book has been released unfinished IMHO.
Thanks for the response @sander.

Re: GOOGLE Acer c7 Chromebook
It's more likely the case that you don't understand the purpose of a Chromebook. Chromebooks aren't made to be your desktop replacement or set top box. They're for web browsing and basic productivity.artnada wrote:Seems the book has been released unfinished IMHO.
