All I want is for sabnzb to download EVERY thing included in the .nzb files, including par, par2, sfv, nfo......
BEFORE it tries to do a repair, or process anything. Maybe I only require 1-2 (repair) sets, but lately its needed
to re-queue things over and over.. I'd rather have all the repair files already on my HD, then have sabnzb monitor, and repair
anything required.
I'm sure its an easy option, I just haven't tried them all
I've tried the repair, and download on the list view.
Thanks
Geo

Use "Download" instead of "+Delete" and do your own post-processing.
Currently that's what we have.

Re: how do I? (download all files, including all repair)
thanks for your honesty.
I'll have to use newsleecher, or another for some of it until the options are changed or I can find another workaround.
To be perfectly honest in cases where the nzb is new, I have no problems, but if its an older one (around 900days -
retention is 1400 or something btw) I get alot of headaches. Instead of downloading one par2 file/segment, finding its not
enough, and requeing, downloading it might be a good idea to change these options.
Just saying...
Anyways thanks for posting

SABnzbd has a different audience than NL.
It's supposed to do everything automatic and doesn't do its best to
please people wanting to watch its progress

Re: how do I? (download all files, including all repair)
what other audience? I don't understand...
I use newsleecher as an example, but nobody sits and watches their download...?
Thats why 99.9999% of these utilities have repair options, auto-joiners/unarchivers and other options.
Except in the cases of command line utilities. The difference seems to be that sabnzb is discarding any par2
that isn't necessary for the immediate fixing/verifying. I just thought you might want to give people other options, thats all.
Some people might not worry about a smaller download, or hd space. so downloading a few extra pars isn't a big deal to us.

It's somewhere on the roadmap, http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/roadmap "Optimal repair".

No problem.
I tend to be rather terse in answering when I'm in a hurry
