Hi all,
I have a server with a share called "tv shows." Inside this directory are all of the show directories, ie, "show1," show2," etc.
I have told Sickbeard to download Show1 files to "\\tv shows\show1\" etc. But Sab is putting all episode directories in the root ("tv shows") directory. It downloads to "\\tv shows\show1.ep1," "\\tv shows\show1.ep2" etc.
So basically I have to move files around after each download.
I'm not sure if my config is wrong in Sab or SB.... Any advice?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

When using SickBeard, don't use SABnzbd's Sorting.

Disable all Sorting in Config->Sorting 
If it was off already, then it's a SickBeard issue and you should be asking on another forum.
The download report (click entry in History) will tell you where SABnzbd stored things.
