Synology DS213 - Post processing - failed to create director

Hello all,

Firstly I'm new to usenet in general, but sabnzbd and sickbeard et al are amazing. Soooo much easier!

sabnzbd is running on my NAS fine, downloading all sorts, but when it comes to extraction it fails when creating the directory.

I have googled this to death and not found anything, plenty of people who had it magically start working, but no obvious fixes. I have ssh'd to the directory and it seems to be admin/admin as user /group.

OK, now I see the screenshots.
It usually means that SABnzbd doesn't have the access rights to create folders on /volume1
Possibly you will need to create the base folders (like /volume1/Videos) first and make
sure they have wide enough access rights.
You can set a 777 permission mask, but that doesn't help if /volume1 doesn't
have wide enough access rights to begin with.

Hi, thanks for that. The base folders already exist and can be used over my network share.

What user does sabnzb use? I don't think I have specified one anywhere.

I have just changed guest to have read/write in privileges for the Video folder and that doesn't seem to have made any difference

SABnzbd doesn'st choose a user.
You do that or else the package creator.
I cannot answer that question.

I fixed it...

It was configured for

/volume1/Video/TV/

but it should have been

/volume1/video/TV/
