Re: smpl black & white - Toggle Add NZB - Browse button cut

Ok I'm back and I'm sad, why is this project supporting Chrome/Chromium better than Firefox?

Have a look this is the latest Chromium in Linux;

So why does this work in Chromium and not Firefox, Chromium is getting better support? I feel like there's some Google favoritism going on here... :(

I thought the reason this did not work is because it didn't work in any browser and when I saw it looks GREAT in Chromium I was a bit shocked.

So what about Firefox since I first made this post, any hope for it?

THANKS

Like I said before, smpl just happens to work better on Chrome than on Firefox.
No volunteers have come forward to maintain smpl.
Any volunteer that has come forward, wants to make a new skin.
Apparently mucking about in someone else skin is no fun.

Hi, actually you never mentioned anything about Chrome in the past that's why I asked now...

You did mention that there's a new alternative in the works, meaning something along the same style?

I discussed smpl issues with another skin designer. I forgot whether tat was in public or not.
I hope to get a full skin with the new Config look.

OK after all this time, I have an IDEA! What about just removing the 'Browse' button? Because the window next to it you can also click in it, so the Browse button isn't really needed...

smpl uses <input type="file" name="nzbfile">
That always comes with a "browse" button, that's the way the web browsers do it.
Unless you know a work-around for that...
