Gidday, i'm trying to fix a connection for a mate of mine. Just recently he installed Windows 8 (which already had me cringing) and this coincided (at least he believes it did) with his newzbin-sabnzbd-astraweb setup dying and leaving him only able to download in the region of 2-5kbps.
This, or at least something very similar, has happened to him once before. On that occasion entering my astraweb details into his sabnzbd and this seemed to 'kick loose' whatever was holding it up and returned his speeds to full, including once i'd restored his details. This time it doesn't seem to have worked.
Having run through as many combos of re-entering server details and re-installing sabnzbd as I can think of i'm out of ideas and hoping for some help. The logfile seems to be showing that downloader threads are timing out but I don't know what would be causing this?
I can't see a way to attach the log file to this post so i'll WOT it below.
