Post Processing fail - Failed to rename

Post by Technane »

Version: 0.7.3
OS: Win 7 X64
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin (if applicable): Plush - Gold
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? NO
Is the issue reproducible? Yes

Over the last few days anything I download in my video category gives me a post processing fail - Fails to rename?
I haven't changed anything to do with sab, and the only additional application I have added to the PC is Samsung All share.

this is all I have set for the Video Sorting category %title.%ext

and i have a category that tells Video they should be in D:\Video

SO i've kinda ruled out it being over complex paths.

Windows can be very obnoxious about renaming, depending on many factors.
Try switching the rename option off in Config->Switches.

We've given up trying to understand the phenomenon.
Anything makes Windows nervous. It's own indexing system, virus-scanners etc.

well i'm in the IT field and this is a pretty new Build i'm running here. So not saying i'm immune to anything and I was pretty much gonna just point my finger at the all share app that's also web based.
but i have unchecked folder rename for now and see what happens..

What do you mean, come back?
If you disabled renaming, then you cannot get the same error message.
What do you get now?
