Hi all.
SabNZB is an excellent NZB tool and i'm absolutely chuffed with it on my windows box, but i'm having an issue with it on my linux box which i'm hoping someone can help with me with?
I'm setting up a HTPC for my bedroom, the OS i'm using is XBMCbuntu...
I've setup Sickbeard and SabNZB to pass NZB files through correctly, but when SabNZB tries to download the NZB file, I get the error.
ERROR: Cannot create directory /blah/blah/blah/
I assume this will be a permissions issue, i've tried to chmod 775 the folders it's trying to create new folders in and no change.
Is there a way I need to give SabNZB permissions to create new folders? Any help would be mostly appreciated!
Thanks
~I

Re: SabNZB Cannot Create /../../
Setting a permissions mask won't help if SABnzbd has no permission to create
the base folders. Check the folder from where you want SABnzbd to create new folders.

Re: SabNZB Cannot Create /../../
Creating a directory in the root (/) needs root rights. However: are you sure you want to create a directory there? That's very unusual.idioteque wrote: ERROR: Cannot create directory /blah/blah/blah/
Re: SabNZB Cannot Create /../../
Okay, i'm trying to get SabNZB to create new directories in...
/home/user/Downloads/complete
Do you think partitioning the drive and having SabNZB put all media onto a seperate partition would be better?
Thanks

That can be useful, but it is not needed.idioteque wrote: Do you think partitioning the drive and having SabNZB put all media onto a seperate partition would be better?
Re: SabNZB Cannot Create /../../
Okay, thanks for your help!
I'm still a little lost with what I should actually do now. If i've chmod 775 the folders where SabNZb is trying to create, and it still doesnt work, I must be missing something!
