[Solved]Changing default folders

Post by thalian »

Hello,
I am trying to change the default incomplete & complete download folders which seems pretty straighforward but every time I do it and hit save changes it appears to work but once I restart SABnzbd it reverts back to the default C:\Users\[my username]\Documents\Downloads\complete & the complete does the same thing. I am using SABnzbd along with sickbeard alpha build 496.

I am just trying to move them to:

D:\Unsorted Videos\Television\Incomplete
and
D:\Unsorted Videos\Television\Complete

These are local drives. I have to get these download locations changed as I have a fairly small OS partition and its getting too full everytime I leave my pc for a few hours. I have done a search already on the forums with no luck. I'm about to do a google search so if I find a solution I'll come back and post it.

Any help would be most appreciated!!! ;D

Thank you!

thalian

SOLVED: I still had active downloads to the default folders, once I purged them all I was able to change the default folders.

YAY!

I have this problem, even when there aren't active downloads. I finally gave up and symlinked the directory it wants by default with the directory I want. I even changed the permissions on the ini file so sab couldn't change the file, and it still shows up in sab as the default even though the ini file says otherwise...
