Hello,
I upgraded to Mountain Lion recently and I have some small issue with SABNZBD. All settings from OSX Lion were still intact and everything works fine, except the 'watched folder' which is named 'NZB''. If I place nzb files in the watched folder, SABNZBD is not doing anything with them. I have to select individual nzb files in the folder one by one to add them to the queue, and then they get downloaded succesfully. Files are in the 'incomplete' folder while they are being downloaded, and the completed files end up in the 'complete' folder upon finishing. However, the nzb files that are succesfully downloaded used to become deleted from the watched NZB folder automatically after downloading, but that's not the case anymore. I have to manually delete them.
These are small issues but everything used to work just smooth and flawless under Lion, so I prefer to get back to smooth again. On my second (old) macbook I'm still running Lion and there everything works as expected. Does anybody recognize this and have a solution?
I did check the locations of the various folders in relation to my User folder and it all seems to be fine (I have moved my User folder to a DATA hdd drive in my macbook, whereas all programs/apps are on the SSD). Maybe one hint to a possible solution: I tried to add another folder to select it as watched folder instead of the default 'NZB' folder, but if I add another folder to my downloads folder, other than 'incomplete', 'complete' and 'NZB', I cannot select this folder as 'watched folder' in config. The folder simply does not show up under config, I only keep seeing these 3 folders.
Thanks in advance!

Re: SABNZBD and OSX Mountain Lion
If SABnzbd does read NZB files from the watched folder, but doesn't delete them,
there can be only one cause.
SABnzbd isn't allowed to delete them due to an access rights issue.
BTW: your watched folder should not be in the "incomplete" folder.
It's best to keep three folders separate.

Re: SABNZBD and OSX Mountain Lion
Thanks, I'm gonna look into the access rights issue. But that can't be the reason for the watched folder not being watched, right? Sorry for not being clear enough, but my NZB folder (the folder designated as 'watch folder') is not in the 'incomplete' folder, it's separate. So in my regular OSX Downloads folder there is a folder named 'complete', a folder 'incomplete' and a folder 'NZB' (which is watched). Under OSX Lion the watched folder functioned fine, but now under OSX Mountain Lion it does not anymore.
Re: SABNZBD and OSX Mountain Lion
Works fine on my MountainLion.
Re: SABNZBD and OSX Mountain Lion
Thanks for letting me know. OK, then it must be something else. I will do a complete reinstall and see if things work better.
How do I completely uninstall SABNZBD under OSX? If I move the program to trash and empty the trash, and then re-install SABNZBD, all settings are still there including download history etc. How do I get rid of them?

Re: SABNZBD and OSX Mountain Lion
Everything is stored here:
/Users/user/Library/Application Support/SABnzbd/
Where user is your login-id. Note that this is a hidden folder,
so using Terminal might be the most practical.

Re: SABNZBD and OSX Mountain Lion
Excellent. Thanks a lot, I'm gonna give it a try!
