Changing Temp folder

Post by diadem »

Had a search around couldnt find and fix's for this.

I want to change the default temp download folder from ~/Downloads/incomplete to another drive else where. when i make this change in the config file and restart the service it changes its self back to the default.

I have changed the complete folder in the same way to a folder in the same location/drive as the new incomplete folder so I know it can see the location.

I see no issues in the log file it just starts and and sets the temp folder to download/incomplete then continues on.

I cant use this default folder as this is running on vSphere5 host with a small system drive.

A few things:

1) If you manually / directly change something in sabnzbd.ini, stop SABnzbd first ... otherwise SAB will overwrite it.
2) if SAB starts and the other drive is not available, SAB will revert to the default folder
3) SAB does (often) not understand things your (Windows) PC does understand, like Y: and \\blabla\adsf
