Help! Sabnzbd download rate slows to below 1KB/s

OS: Windows 7 64 bit

Firewall software: Avg/ windows default firewall

Everytime I try to download an nzb larger than 5GB, my que download speed comes to a crawling 0 KB/s. It levels out around 100 B/s, and the estimated download time goes to the thousands. when it finally does finish downloading, I get an error saying the nzb may be out of my retention (which it isn't). I do not think it is a firewall issue, as I have sabnzbd on my macbookair and my pc running windows 7 64 bit, and the problem reamins the same. I use 'usenetserver' for months and have never had this problem until now.

The most likely cause is DMCA take down requests.
If you doubt this, try another Usenet client with the same NZB.
Oh, and upgrade to 0.7.3 too.

Can you explain a little bit? Btw I am running 0.7.3. I forgot I updated last night after continuing to have this problem. The upgrade did not solve the problem

Someone (presumably the rights holder) has commanded your Usenet provider to remove this post.

I see. However, this is happening only with large nzbs. If it is under 5GB, no problem. I have tried many different large nzb files and am running in to the same problem

I'm wondering if you are right and it is DCMA. I'm honestly not sure and I have seen similar problems on other threads. It is just so odd because it seems to only happen with large files

I've tried downloading a bunch of nzb files around 10gb. Problem persists

I might have the same problem. OSX 10.7.4 SABnzbd 0.7.3 and earlier versions.
I do have sometimes the problem that the files I currently download aren't finishing. I couldn't determine any specific files, it doesn't depend on the file size in contrast to the thread creator. When it happens it's in the last megabytes or even kilobytes of the file thats being downloaded, the download rate slowly begins to slow down to a minimum of 1B/s and persists at that rate. At this point the only thing that helps, is to kill the SABnzbd process, a normal shutdown won't do it, because after pressing shutdown in SABnzbd the application doesn't respond to anything. After a restart of SABnzbd the download continues at full speed. This happened to me already in previous versions, can't tell which ones exactly. But in the last one for sure.
