Question regarding movie sorting/renaming

Post by dejaud »

Please excuse my ignorance if there is an easy answer for this but I was unable to find it by searching or in the Wiki. Currently my movies sort in the default way (Movie Name (2009)\Movie Name (2009) CD1.avi) is there a string I can add so the movie displays whether it is a TS, R5, DVDRIP etc?

Are these terms (TS, R5, DVDRIP) present in the NZB names?

The default one at the moment. (%title (%y)/%title (%y).%ext)

Your best chance is to use %fn, which is the original file name (as determined by the uploader).

Currently SABnzbd removes anything coming after a 4 digit number, supposing this is the publication year of the movie.
It's a good guess, I think, but it does remove the possibility of doing something with the rest of the info.

BTW: if you're not interested in cleaning up the titles, you might as well not use Generic sorting.
Just use a category with only a specific path.
