When I start SABnzbd+ 0.4.4 (or earlier version 0.4.2) the program works for about 30seconds.
Then first IE stops responding. Then after about 30 sec. windows stops responding (even ctrl-alt-del doesn't work anymore). And finially after another 30sec. the mouse also freezes. Occaissonally followed by the Windows blue screen with a kernel_stack_inpage_error.
One-time when it frooze, I've tried to let the system recover itself overnight, but no succes the next morning.
I've even tried to install al earlier version 0.4.2 but that's got the same problem.
I've also tried to disabled the Norton Internet Sec 2008 (didn't uninstall it yet).
I've tried to install the old version op par2, that didn't help at all.
How can I get this thing working again?
Windows XP SP3
Intel Core 2 Duo T9300

From here
Follow the instructions on this page. And see if you can narrow down the issue using details from the blue screen.
Edit, aslo try running chkdsk on your drives.
Have you ever got blue screens using other applications recently? How old are your hard drives and ram?KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR
This Stop message indicates that the requested page of kernel data from the paging file could not be read into memory. It might have been caused by a bad block (sector) in a paging file, a disk controller error, a defective motherboard, failing RAM, or because the stack signature in the kernel stack was not found. In extremely rare cases, it is caused when nonpaged pool resources run out.

Re: Windows Hangs and Crashes when using SABnzbd 0.4.4
So far blue screens only happen when i start sabnzbd+.
I've not seen it with other programs.
And blue screens are rarely a result when the system hangs (2 out of 10).
The system is new, 1 week old.
I'm guessing it has something to do with Symantec, because another system with the same NIS 2008 got the same problem.
Are there special settings for Symantec that I can try.
Simply disablen isn't that easy anymore with v2008.
