SABnzbd-0.7.2-src.tar.gz on CentOS 5.8 with Python 2.6.8. Changig "Ignore Samples" from "Delete after download" to "Off" fixes problem.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.

It looks like the sample detector is a bit overzealous.
