RSS - only the first file

Post by nickster »

How do I configure SABnzbd to only download the first few files from an RSS feed? I've already downloaded some of the files, so it would be helpful if only the first few are downloaded. Thanks.

I'm using plush if it makes a difference, but when I click preview, it comes up with a non clickable list - there's just a back button at the top?

It's an ongoing series... I wanted to get the new NZB's as they come out, just not the existing ones. Would manually deleting the ones I don't want work? Thanks.

Oh, I think I've got it - just select scheduled to download new things?

The way RSS feeds work is this.

The very first batch of files read from a newly defined RSS feed is ignored.
This is to prevent an truckload of old downloads on large RSS feeds.
New files that are seen in each subsequent scan are downloaded.

The only exception is when you click the download button of the feed.
In that case all qualifying jobs are entered in the queue.
