Open Source

Post by soad56 »

Hello,

I have a NAS which suggests a web interface with closed source. This interface has got a SABnzbd unit, but the SABnzbd source has been modified and we can not do what we want (ports choices, ...). This source is not shared.

SABnzbd is an open source project, so this kind of things is banished, isn't it? :-\

You can demand that they publish their sources, pointing out the GPL principles.
It remains to be seen whether that works.
As authors we could make objections, but I'm not sure it's worth spending time on.
Which NAS is this?
