I am attempting to setup SABnzbd so that I can access it externally.
I have no issues accessing it while setup as localhost:8085
My ports are all forwarded properly, my firewall is completely off. I can access my mongoose fileserver and my PLEX server on ports 8080 and 32400 externally without issue.
When i check with the open port check tool it shows that 8085 is closed, even though SABNZBd is up and running.
It seems as though the server is never starting. Any ideas?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

ugh, nevermind. I was changing my host to my external IP, not my internal lan IP. I'm an idiot. I'll leave this here for anyone else that might be as stupid as I. lol
