I'm having issues with an NZB downloading (multiple episodes of a show) and claiming to be complete but actually having files that can't be repaired.
I realize that it may have downloaded everything available to it, but shouldn't that still show some sort of error message?
My issues is that I can see an error message if I scan the entire notification email, or review the details of each nzb in my queue history, but that's tedious.
I would assume that if it says completed, it means successfully. The history, and notifications, should at least say there was an error.
Currently the email even says successfully, even if it isn't 100% successful.
I am running SABnzbd 0.7.0 on Ubuntu Server 12.04.
It isn't just this one NZB, either. It's every NZB with repair issues since at least 0.7.0. I delete the emails once I review them, but I can't recall a single one telling me it failed.
Am I missing a setting somewhere? I know I used to get emails stating there were errors but I've had a few downloads fail recently and the emails have shown success.

Thanks
EDIT: clarification: the subject of the notification email does NOT say success or otherwise. It just says "completed". However, I'm certain I've see emails which stated there was a failure. Have I lost it, or is that only under certain circumstances?
"Completed" but with errors not mentioned

Re: "Completed" but with errors not mentioned
Are you saying that only the email is incorrect?
Despite your long description, it's not clear to me whether the History entry shows the appropriate error message.
Can you email me a debug log and the NZB of one of the failing NZB files?

Re: "Completed" but with errors not mentioned
I may partly be confused about how the system was intended to work, so this might not be a bug (vs a feature request).
I just studied the email templates a bit more and it seems that those are responding as the system intends. The "task" of downloading completed and so it says completed (vs failed). Then the specifics of the email show that some items didn't repair/unpack properly.
Same with the history log. It shows the download as completed, even though there were errors unpacking.
I was assuming that any errors (downloading, repairing, unpacking, etc) would be flagged. But after some additional thinking/research it appears that isn't the case.
Does that help? Am I on the right track, or should there be additional messages shown to the user that an item in the queue (and in email) had issues?
side-question: Is there a way for me to change my email template to flag if there's any failure at all?
If this post is correct (and this isn't a bug), then please move this thread to the appropriate category.

Re: Help With Categories
Any failure in a multi-rar/par set should fail the complete job.
That's why I ask for a log and an NZB.
