UnRAR script

Post by akashi »

Hi,

Currently I have my downloaded files set to "Repair" under processing. My incomplete and completed folders are on the D:\ drive. I would like to retain my rar files where they are but want to EXTRACT the files to E:\ drive.

I did not use the UNPACK option because it also MOVES my rar files to E:\ drive

Can someone please help me with a script for Windows to achieve this for both .rar and .001 files?

Thanks in advance

You should use +Delete and set "complete" to E:\

Thank you for your response. I need to KEEP the rar files otherwise I would use the +Delete.

I need the "completed" to be on "E:\Downloads\" (the rar files) and I want to extract the rar files to "D:\"

I was hoping for a script that I could use with +Repair that will execute the UnRAR command with the destination path set to "D:\"

Is this possible?

Thanks.

In that case, use +Repair and write your own unpack script.
That's the only way.

Unfortunately I am not capable of writing my own script hence this post asking for help.

If someone could be kind enough to provide a script with this function I will very much appreciate it.

Thanks.
