Plush drop down menus not working on iOS Safari

Post by bgrupczy »

Version: 0.7.0
OS: OSX Lion
Install-type: OSX .app
Skin (if applicable): Plush
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? yes

The speed limit was working in 0.6.15 on iOS Safari browsers. It has stopped working properly in 0.7.0. I tried the other skins in 0.7.0 and they work.

In 0.7.0, you can tap the speed limit drop down button and that does bring up the drop down but then clicking reset or the entry field makes the drop down disappear.

This affects the other pull down type menus as well.

Let's just say that Mobile Safari is the new IE6.
There's quite some valid HTML that just doesn't work properly on Mobile Safari.
The code for 0.6.15 had problems too. The popups appeared, but they never disappeared.
We'll see what we can do.

We did some "touch-friendly" fixes in 0.7.0, unfortunately they don't work for Mobile Safari.
0.7.1 will reverse the "fix" for Mobile Safari again.
