Am i right in thinking that a Atom / Ion 330 download box is pretty usless with 100mb SSL and large Par and Unrar tasks?
I get the impression from reading around that people are saying Atom on SSL maxes out at about 60mb and a large par repair on a 1080p MKV file can take an hour instead of a few mins that it would take on a desktop.
Is an Atom 330 useless?

Re: Is an Atom 330 useless?
I'm getting about 8 MByte/sec from an old Atom-based Asus netbook (running Ubuntu server).
Repairs do tend to be slow, but large repairs are rare events (for me at least).
The more damaged a download is, the longer repair takes.
